Went roller blading on weekend around Lake Burley Griffin with some of the guys from work. Some of the paths are really smooth and hence are great for blading. We also discovered a nice mobile coffee place down by the lake which Jo and I tested out on Sunday with much success. Also went Geocaching and found
Ben and Lisa's cache. It's been there for 3 years and is still in pretty good condition. Also went to
the Russell's for some dinner and
MAME action. They bought the same TV stand as Jo and me. I guess this makes up for us buying the same wine rack as them.
Ben pointed me in the direction of this interesting article on
the American car culture. I liked this quote:
In 1911 a horse and buggy paced through Los Angeles at 11 miles per hour. In 2000, an automobile makes the rush hour trip averaging four miles per hour.
