DFAT just presented at the FTA senate committee about the IP provisions in the FTA. They were so bad it seemed like even the Liberal senator was having trouble believing them, and she had no idea (was reading prepared questions). Senator Cook (ALP) made them look silly and had to apologise for embarrassing the DFAT representatives. Easy to see how we got steam rolled in the negotiations.
