As part of this blogger account I can beta trial Google's email service
Gmail. Thought I sign up and see what it's like (ignoring Gmails privacy concerns).
I hate web mail but first impressions are good. Very fast and the user interface is excellent. Lots of stuff that other web mail systems do on the server side is done client side in Gmail making it really fast. For example, you get prompted in real time for addresses as you type into the To: field. It's Google's lightweight, simple and quick interface principles applied to webmail. Very neat.
