After some beers at Uni House with the OzLabs crowd on Thursday night, Alli came over while Paul talked at CLUG about the
FTA and how it's bad for open source in Australia. Paul turned up later and we ended up watching my favorite movie
The Shawshank Redemption. We managed to get screwed by Domino's who forgot to deliver one of our pizzas. Took an hour for the second pizza to be delivered after the first had arrived.
Saturday night we had old Adelaide friends
Brad and Tennille over for dinner. We managed to cook Brad's favorite main and Tennille's favorite desert purely by accident. It was good to catch up but would be nice to be able to see more of them. Seeing Brad and Tennille is one of the biggest things I miss from Adelaide.
Sunday we went to the
Canberra Wine festival with Martin and Mel. If you ever think about going to
Yass Valley Wines, make sure you don't mind being treated like a moron and getting bad service from the cafe. Great view, shitty people.
Anyway, off to rock climbing...
